Youtube Star THANKS! Tom Kaulitz

A few days ago Tom posted about YouTube user nicholifavs who makes his videos lipsyncing songs in an Apple store. Turns out Nicholi found out about Tom’s blog post, and made a thank-you video. Check out the video, and article written about it by Examiner, below.

There’s a new kid taking the Internet by storm and his name is Nicholi.

Apparently unphased by onlookers, Nicholi records himself at an Apple Store miming to popular songs by Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Kid Cudi, just to name a few. With tens of thousands of views and subscribers on YouTube, Nicholi has a slew of fans.

Tom Kaulitz recently posted one of Nicholi’s videos on his blog, comparing himself to the YouTube star, saying, “…Sometimes you just have to do it, no matter how stupid it is. And tada – in an instant you’ve got an audience of millions of people, same here…”

Check out Nicholi’s video response to Tom’s blog. Maybe he’ll do a Tokio Hotel song next…

BRAVO at the exclusive Tokio Hotel Comeback Concert

Bravo 37: Gustavs new Tattoo
On the internet Fans are asking themselves: Does Gustav (20) from Tokio Hotel have a new Tattoo? I know it ;’) He has one – on his right calf. It says: ” What have I become, my sweetest friend. Everyone I know goes away in the end. And you could have it all. My empire of dirt. I will let you down. I will make you hurt. If I could start again. A million miles away.

I would keep myself, I would find a way.” Very depressing. Aren’t you feeling well Gustav? Explanation: Those lines are from the Nine-Inch-Nails Song “Hurt”, which Country-Legend Johnny Cash (died 2003) sang shortly before he died. Gustav is a big Fan: “It’s my favourtie song” In all it’s glory, you can view the Tattoo on BRAVO.de: WEBCODE: TATTOO

Bravo 37: BRAVO at the exclusive Comeback Concert
Tokio Hotel: We’re back! That’s what the Fans have waited for over a year! Tokio Hotel are finally back on stage and BRAVO was there with them….

Unbelieveable 440 Days, Germany has been a Tokio Hotel free Zone: That’s how long it took them to return for a concert here! It feels like an eternity! But finally the Fans can celebrate again. In Cologne Bill Kaulitz (20) ,Tom Kaulitz (20),Georg Listing(22) and Gustav Schäfer(20) played an exclusive Comeback Concert in front of 1.000 happy Fans – among them, also the Winner of the BRAVO Contest. “We’re so happy that we can finally play a concert again for our German Fans.”, Bill explains in the Bravo-Interview. “It’s also a very relaxing Start – because we’re playing an acoustic session – without much of a show.“ But Tokio Hotel had to pratise for it: “We didn’t have much time to practise„ says Tom.

“We always met in the evening to go through all of the Songs. A lot of time passed, since all of us played together.“ and it was so long, that Bill even forgot some of his Lyrics: “We worked a year on complete new Music – that’s quite a task to get all the old Songs on there too.“ And too feel good Backstage, Tokio Hotel indicated their Extra-Wishes to their Organizer Nokia: “Our List is always very long. We always write down about 500 different energy drinks – otherwise we get from the Concert Organizer 4 different ones.“, Tom tells us, laughing. Apart from that, they need: a lot of fruit, a waffle iron and a Coffee Machine. Strengthened, the Band storm onto the stage at 19 o’clock and starts the Concert with “Über’s Ende der Welt”.

The Fans are rocking the venue. “We missed you so much“ Bill shouts out. When they perform their new Single „Automatsch“ acoustic, the audience in the o2 World are going totally wild! Even if you could listen to the song since just a few days before, they already know it by heart. Madness! With „In Die Nacht“ Tokio Hotel says good bye, after having played 6 Songs: “At the beginning of 2010 we’ll be back“, Tom promises. “Then we’ll finally play a big Tour again!“

BILL THINKS HE WILL NEVER GROW UP

Bill Kaulitz: “I think, I’ll never grow up”

Done with the Teens! The Kaulitz-Twins celebrate their 20th Birthday on September 1st. Tokio Hotel – is a new era starting? No! “I think, I’ll never grow up”, says Bill Kaulitz in an Interview with “Welt am Sonntag”.

However, the famous Brothers are paying some tribute to older people and for normal 20-year-olds they have a rather unusual birthday wish. “I would like to have a coffe party with cream pies.

And it would be wicked if the all guests were older than 60. Like a real coffee party”, Bill said. “I always felt older, than I am.”

That’s why the Teen-Idols hated their time at School. “We’ve been really rebellious kids and almost got expelled. But not because of Drugs or Fights. Rather because of Discussions, which the teachers simply weren’t up to” – that’s how Bill sees it…

Nevertheless, the twins imitated their O-level by distance learning. Bill got awarded for it. „Almost embarrasing, not?“, says the Teen Star. By the way, he doesn’t want to be a Role-Model fot Teens.

And all the fame sometimes tires him out. „It sounds cool to have a personal assistant, who get’s you everything. But sometimes I would also like to choose my Yogurt by myself..“

ALL THIS SCREWING AROUND IS PRETTY USELESS

“All this fucking around is useless”
Today Germanys most popular Twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz are celebrating their 20th Birthday!

Within four years they’ve risen from a School Band from Magdeburg to the worldwide most successfull Rock-Group which sold more than 6 Million CD’s and played sold out concerts over the whole world.

BILD asked Bill Kaulitz for an intimate Birthday-Interview. The Rockstar speaks about

his mirror image
“I don’t look in the mirror every morning thinking “Wow, you are such a hot guy!” I have a normal relationship to my face and my body. I’m comfortable in my skin.”

his skinniness
“I’m almost exclusively eating unhealthy rubbish and I order one pizza after the other. I simply don’t get fat. And I have to disappoint you, I don’t make myself throw up in order to stay thin.”

his money
“We earn good money, but we are not filthy rich like some people believe. There’s lots of money we could make but don’t. 90% of the advertising deals we are offered, we say no to. Because the brand or products were complete shit. I only wanna make deals for stuff I really like myself.”

his luxury goods
“I spend a lot of money on vacations. It’s already kinda sick and excessive. But because my vacations are so rare, I wanna enjoy them compeltely.”

his status symbols
“When I finished school, I bought myself a Rolex, even though I don’t care for watches at all. I simply found it funny to have a Rolex at the age of 18. Kinda dumb, actually.”

his sexlife
“I don’t have a girlfriend and sex without love is not the thing for me. This is something my brother should waste his time with. There will be a time he will realize all this fucking around is useless.”

his preferences
“I’m into pretty hands. My first look always goes to the hands. And eyes are also very important. I could care less for the haircolor.”

his loneliness
“After a concert, when I’m all alone in my hotel room, I sometimes don’t know what to do with myself. Eerything is so damn quiet suddenly.”

who he takes to bed
“My 4 dogs are sleeping in my bed with me. I could never be without them. The closer they are to me, the better I feel. This is my advice to everyone: Take your dogs to bed with you!”

his feelings
“I have to admit, there are movies that make me cry. The Notebook, for example. Now probably most people are thinking “Haha, we knew it! That faggot is crying when watchign TV!”

his flaws
“I think I can be exhausting. And sometimes I’m really over the top with the things I say. And I regret it later and think to myself I shoudln’t have said that.”

the end of his career
“After my surgery last year I wanted to throw it all away. I just though I don’t wanna hold my face in a camera ever again. But music is the only thing for me. If I would have to get a job education now, I’d have no idea in which direction to go.”

his fears
“In general I’m afraid something happens to people I care about. Or if something would happen to one of my dogs, I couldn’t deal with that.”

his daily routine
“I’m a total night person. While recording the new album, I usually was in the studio until 6 in the morning, and then slept till the evening. From the world, I usually only see airports, hotels and our venues.”

his daily life
“It’s been years since I’ve last been to a supermarket like a regular person. I have no idea anymore what a piece of butter costs. There’s really no normal life when it comes to me.”

his birthday
“Tom and I wanna celebrate with family and friends. And at night, we wanna rent a rollercoaster, just for ourselves. We haven’t been on a rollercoaster since forever. We lvoe that kind of stuff.”

IlOVE RADIO PART 2 INTERVIEW

This week Tokio Hotel celebrated, with their Unplugged-Gig in Cologne, their Live-Comeback in Germany.

Backstage the Band took half an hour for an Interview with I LOVE RADIO. In the first Part of the Interview, Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg spoke about their new Album “Humanoid”, their new Songs and their new Sound.

But another thing is new: in “BRAVO” Tokio Hotel Bassist Georg revealed, the first time, that he has a Girlfriend and that he’s in a relationship with her since 6 months! Why didn’t we know about this? Georg explains it in the Interview with I LOVE RADIO.

Georg, did you want to keep your Girlfriend a secret?

Georg: “Yes, I have a new Girlfriend. But I haven’t kept it a secret in the past six months, we simply had no Interviews and nobody asked me!”

Bill: “We never try to keep it a secret. I think that when one of us has a Girlfriend, then it’s the most normal thing in the world. I think it’s totally embarrassing when Boygroups try to keep it a secret, just to make Girls buy their CDs. It’s ridiculous. So we actually say it, when we have a Girlfriend. Actually, I find it rather sad that only one of us has one. But that’s how it is!”

How and where could you ever meet a potential Girlfriend?

Bill: “Tom and I aren’t going out to Clubs in our Private Life. We always work a lot, that’s why it doesn’t really work out – we’re usually at After Show Partys, even there we aren’t those who go to every Party. Actually going into the Cinema in private or just normally go out – it doesn’t work.”

Georg: “Gustav and I can still move around in Magdeburg relatively free. Sometimes it works. That’s where I met my Girlfriend.”

Bill: “You miss it, that’s a fact. That’s one of the bad things when you’re famous. We can’t spontaneously say: Okay, now I’m going out with a Friend or now I’m gonna meet my Friends to eat some ice-cream, or drink some Coffee, or spontaneously go into a Club in the evening. So, everything that we do is always perfectly planned and you’re never alone. You always have somebody with you – yes, that’s not very nice. But I have to say, that there are also those Moments, when we’re standing on the stage and thousands of Fans are listening to our Music – this is definitely making up for everything.”

Bill Kaulitz wants a coffe party

tokio hotel "being an adult is relative"

Welt.de: “Being an adult is relative”

Children, time flies by: The Teen Stars from Tokio Hotel are almost twenty. Bill and Tom Kaulitz talk of crashes, with 15, their luck, to go shopping theirselves, and why they prefer to talk to Grandma’s.

“Bill Kaulitz never leaves the house unvarnished,” says the woman from the record company. The time in the mask must therefore always be calculated at appointments. And when the petite young man stands in front of you, you get a slight idea of how much time he needs for his appearance.

Among the perfectly coiffed black and blond dreadlocks, a composition of a black and white line graces his eyelids, and his suitably painted nails. The hands in leather gloves have difficulty to arrange the mass of chains that are attached to his black shirt.

His twin Tom is sitting next to him, on a couch in a hotel room with pink painted walls. He fancies himself as a street rocker with a leather jacket and braided hair. Not less expensive, but not as striking. Two ordinary guys in pop-star attire.

WamS: Bill, Tom, both your birthdays are on September 1st, what do you desire?

Bill: I want to be together with my family, see my friends and drink coffee. I love coffee, I drink gallons of it. And I’d like a round of coffee with cream pies. And it would be great if everyone would be older than 60. Thus, a real coffee party.

Tom: Coversations with old people result in coversations that are completely off the beaten track. They have quite different thoughts. This would be great, every Sunday a coffee-party

WamS: Do you have any material desires?

Bill Kaulitz: I don’t.

WamS: A new car, maybe?

Tom Kaulitz: I think, that there’s no one who would give me something physical as a present. But sure, I would be happy about a new car.

WamS: You’re turning 20. Are you an adult?

Bill Kaulitz: I think I’ll never grow up. But growing up is relative. I already thought when I was 13 that I can do whatever I want. Go into Clubs and drink alcohol – I always felt older than I really am.

WamS: Via distance learning you finished secondary school and got awarded for a particularly good performance.

Bill: This is almost embarrassing, right?

WamS: A little bit.

Bill: Tom and I hated going to school. That was the worst time in our lives. I feel sorry for everyone who goes to school.

WamS: What was so bad about it?

Tom: Most of all we were scandalized because of our appearance in the school. But I think that the worst of all is, that the personality of each individual get’s totally suppressed in school.

Bill: Tom and I got transferred into two different classes for disciplinary reasons in 7th Grade. We were really rebellious children, and almost got expelled from school. But not because of drugs or fights. But because of discussions, which the teachers simply weren’t up to. And then you realize that pedagogy comes much too short in teacher education. A lot of people simply slip into the study because they see no other way. But if you want to be a teacher, you really have to want it and you have to have the passion for this job.

WamS: A lot of your fans take you as their role model. Are there any values that you want to convey?

Tom: We really don’t think of ourselves as role models.

WamS: But you exemplify it a little bit. Are you aware of this?

Tom: No, very often not. You have to free yourself of this. We have very limited free space anyway. I don’t want to suddenly pay attention to not use swear words in interviews.

WamS: But you, for example, supported an Anti-AIDS campaign.

Tom: Of course, sometimes we try to stand up for things which we think are important. But in the end: I hate this “Role-Model-Position” (Cmmt: Like, people always taking them as an example, pointing the fingers at them etc.). I don’t want to turn into something like this.

WamS: Will you vote?

Tom: Uhm, yes. Let’s see.

Bill: Then, in any case, the first time.

WamS: What’s the percentage of normalcy in your life?

Bill: 1%.

WamS: Is it the same as with the international stars, that you can’t even go shopping?

Tom: Yes, absolutely. When we started making music, we were at an age where our parents bought everything for us – now we’re at an age where we need to do this by ourselves but we can’t.

Bill: It sounds kind of cool to have a personal assistant, who get’s you everything you want. But I would also like to choose my yogurt by myself.

Tom: In the U.S., there are also supermarkets, which are open 24 hours a day. You can go down there at four in the night, when nobody else is there. We once walked into the toy department, and bought everything. Guns with arrows or remote-controlled cars.

Bill: And then we shot off the cars with the arrows. Totally ridiculous.

WamS: And how do you buy your clothes?

Bill: Usually trough the Internet or from catalogs. Totally Boring. But sometimes you have to jump over your own shadow. Fuck it, if photographers and fans are outside the door. Sometimes you have to go out, you need this little piece of normalcy to live.

WamS: What’s on your catering wish list?

Bill: Actually, every year there’s a new one. And I must admit that it’s pretty long. But we are at home so seldom, that we always try to make it as comfy as possible. The most important things are coffee and real blankets in the hotels. These wool-blankets are the worst. Because they make you feel like you’re at a camp. That is what is most important to me, a real blanket and pillow.

WamS: Do you still have normal friendships from the past?

Bill: Only (from the past). In the Tokio Hotel time we didn’t get to know any new friends because we can’t even really get to know each other. Everyone who meets us, already has an opinion about us.

WamS: Are you extra-cautious with getting in touch with new people because you have often been deceived?

Tom: Yes, most of the times from hidden-editors. We had had extreme experiences at the beginning of our career. At 15 we were at every after-show party and we have, of course, been drinking alcohol. Back then, it was like this: You drank a sip of alcohol, and then the next day the editors called the Youth Welfare Office who wanted to call off the project (Cmmt: With the Project they mean their career as Tokio Hotel) completely.

WamS: But you probably get coached in how to deal with such situations.

Tom: No, we never did. And I do not even want someone who tells me how I should respond to the questions.

Bill: You have to learn this by yourself, by bolting into such a situation and then living with the fact that sometimes also bad things are written about you in the newspapers.

WamS: Do you get psychological support for such cases?

Tom: Our family and friends are our psychological support. I could imagine getting professional help, but there’s the problem with the time again.

Bill: I can understand, when people do that. The problem is, I don’t believe in it.

Tom: I also always think I’m smarter than the psychologist himself.

Bill: Exactly. Everything I tell you, I tell you deliberately, because it’s my problem. And then the psychologist would say: Yes, you need to take some time to think about it. And then I think to myself: Great, I also knew this before.

TOM AND BILL WISH A BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Tokio Hotel: Bill and Tom Kaulitz’s birthday wish is a coffee-party

The Kaulitz-Twins have a rather unusual Wish for their upcoming Birthday.Berlin: The singer of the Popband Tokio Hotel, wants a coffee party – which includes cream-cakes – for his 20th Birthday on September 1st. And it would be “wicked”, if all of the Guests were older than 60, he told the newspaper “Welt am Sonntag”

Bill’s Twin-Brother and Guitarist of Tokio Hotel, Tom Kaulitz, explained the unusual wish. “Conversations with old people can result in conversations that are completely off the beaten track. They have quite different thoughts. ”

Even if they are almost 20 years old, Bill Kaulitz believes that he’ll never grow up. But growing-up is relative. Already with 13 he thought that he could to everything and he felt old enough to go to Clubs and drink Alcohol. He always felt older, than he was, the musician revealed.

The 3rd Album of the successful Band Tokio Hotel is called “Humanoid and will be released on the 2nd October. The first Single “Automatisch” will be released on September 18.

i love radio interview part 1

ILoveRadio.de: Tokio Hotel Interview Part 1

After the Unplugged Concert of Tokio Hotel in Cologne, Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg patiently signed Autographs for 1.000(!) Fans! I LOVE RADIO Listener Alicia took this Chance to take a Photo of Bill, when she was less than a meter away from him. Thanks for your Picture, Alicia!

Backstage, Tokio Hotel took some time for an interview with I LOVE RADIO. In the first Part the Band talks about their new Album “Humanoid”, and reveal which new Album-Tracks aside from “Automatisch”/”Automatic” can be found on their Single, which will be released September 18th!
“Humanoid” – what does this even mean?

Bill: “Humanoid was a Lifestyle that we always had. This Lifestyle especially accompanied Tom and me from a very young age, and it has caught up with us in the album production stage again and again – even in our songwriting stage. So it was obvious to call the Album that.”
Automatisch
Bill: “‘Automatisch’ is about a Girl which has no real feelings, she’s just playing them. We wanted to transport this onto the Cover with the Robotic arm – and the most human thing, that is the heart. I think it describes the Song and it’s feeling very good.”

Tom: “The image is wicked. At first glance, the cover may seem a bit gloomy, but I think if you deal a bit more with it and take a closer look, it’s not quite as bleak as it appeared in the first second. I think it’s very atmospheric.”

Can we still recognize you on the new album “Humanoid”, or did your Music Style change comepletely?

Bill: “The track ‘Humanoid’ actually describes very well that it is a complete different song, even it’s structure – we’ve made ourselves quite free, when it came to the song structure of this song. I’m curious to see how people will react to this! The song will be on the Single too. Apart from that we, of course, were influenced a lot by the events of the last year when it comes to songwriting. I do not even want to reveal too much, but I think you can hear the change!”

Tomorrow it’s gonna get a little more private: in the second Part of our Interview, Georg explains why he told us now that he has a girlflriend since six months. Did something happen in the last year, that we still don’t know of?

BILL AND TOM VISIT INGRED AND KLAUS

Videos from the All Eyes On Tokio Hotel are out. Below are videos with the parts of the show with Ingrid & Klaus. It’s all in German, but it looks like it was funny! Check them out, the translations are underneath.

Ingrid: Ooh, I’m so glad!! (to meet them)
(hugs Bill) Oooooh what a nice man it is!!!

(..)

Klaus: I insulted you once, have you noticed it/heard of it?
Bill: Nein..
Ingrid: Yess, I said once, that Bill looks like Struwwelpeter. Your haircut like Struwwelpeter, but it looks chique. Very elegant.

(..)

Klaus: I mean, I can sing too, but Ingrid says I can’t.
Tom: Oh, but we all can.
Klaus: But now I’m that far that I say I can’t sing. But I can sing.
Ingrid: No, but you sing false. You can’t hold tune. I would like to … now shut up for a moment. Ah, now it’s starting again. Klaus, I ask you..

(..)

Klaus to Ingrid: You closed Bill into your heart.
Ingrid: I can’t help it.. I still now how the first piece goes (Sings a little song) That was an old Schlager in the past.

(…)

Klaus: Bill is the intelligent one.
Ingrid: Oooh, I ask you! Why that? It’s shameless what you are talking right now!
Klaus: Let me finish! He is the singer..
Ingrid: You sing false, know nothing about that..

(..)

Klaus: You are virgo right?
Bill/Tom: Yeah..
Ingrid: My son is too.
Klaus: No..
Ingrid: Yes! Christian is virgo.
Klaus: No, he is a leo.
Ingrid: Yeahhh, you’re right my grandmother was a virgo.
(guys laugh)

(..)

Ingrid: And I’m called Ingrid Agnes Emma.
Bill: Aah, Agnes is a nice name.
Tom: But Ingrid too!
Ingrid: Yes, personally I like Ingrid too. It’s a special name. Agnes is from my grandmother and Emma from an aunt.

(..)
(I don’t know the song their singing, someone from Germany maybe?)

(..)

Ingrid: My heart opens..
(Bill nodds)
Ingrid: When my cat looks at me with her amazing eyes..
(man mumbles something I can’t hear/understand)

Ingrid (touches Bills tattoo): So, it lays a bit on it.. (on his skin she means) and not in it..
Bill: No..
Ingrid: They spray something in it..
Klaus: Of course!
Bill: With a needle..
Ingrid: The needle sprays something in..
Bill: That stitches it under the skin..

(..)

Ingrid: So Tom looks, how I look at him now, with his nice cap, a bit like a searobber..
Tom: Like a searobber? Earlier I wanted to be a pirate..
Ingrid: Yes! Like a pirate!
Tom: Yeah, I think that’s good.
Ingrid: Yes, a bit … (?? verwegen ??)

(..)

Klaus: Ingrid.. uhm.. it’s not our music.. if we are very critical.. It’s.. Ingrid is more..
Tom: What do you listen in private then?
Ingrid: What do I listen in private? I like to listen to opera music, beautifull folksongs and old Schlagers.

(..)

(It’s a conversation about the food, but didn’t really get it, at the end Tom says: Where did you put it in? In the butt?)

(..)

Ingrid: Aah, you can’t do that!

(..)

Bill: How do you think that humans meat would taste?
Klaus: Sweeter.
Bill: What I imagine by a breast (chest?)..
Tom: Just men’s meat.. Womens meat..
Bill: Yeah, that’s what I mean. I believe womans meat wouldn’t be tastefull.
(everyone laughs)
Ingrid: BILL!!
Klaus: Bill, that depends on how it’s prepared..
Ingrid: Preserved in sourishness

(..)

Tom: (mumbles something I can’t hear him)
Ingrid: (says something about him (or them?) being the only normal ones there and than she’s apologizing to the crew)
Klaus: (mumbles too, can’t hear him either)
(..)

Klaus: There’s an engine in it!

24 minutes with TOKIO HOTEL

Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger has published a new article about Tokio Hotel’s concert in their city. They give a good description of the fans’ emotions in line and after they got into the venue. Although the concert was short, everyone seemed pleased.

State of emergency at the southstation: Tokio Hotel is giving their first and
only concert since 2 years in germany in Köln and play less than half an hour.
The mostly female fans are in good spirits though.

Jana, Mimi, Lucy and Alisha are the lucky ones today,
traveling from Dusseldorf, Lübeck, Kiel and Bochum, the 14-23 year olds are the first ones in line. and that since 7 in the morning.
“we just spend the day eating, waiting and sweating”, Lucy says.
but we just had to be here. what do they expect of the night?
“To Rock out!”
and that Tokio Hotel rocks the hal.
in front of the 02tent a long line has formed.
and the up to 90% females with their black dyed hair, an andogynes outfit and lightly comiclike habitus, doesn’t make it hard to figure out who are fans of the band.

The reason for the noise : the internationally succesful band Tokio Hotel, will give a concert in germany, for the first time in 2 years.
The exclusive part: there were only 1400 tickets, that could only be won
at Nokia, and because of that, a lot of fans ended up empty handed.
They didn’t give up hope, to see Bill Kaulitz and Co onstage that night.

next to the hall around 250 fans ended up at the sportground next to the hall.
“sit and stay calm”, the securities kept saying.
because there are still chances to get into the place.
a lot of the freetickets had not been picked up.
“”ofcourse we will stay here”, says 15 year old Arina from Dorsten, who has been sitting here since early in the morning.
and what if you don’t get in?
“than ofcourse we will be very very sad. but we can hear it from the outside”.
Sandy and Janine from Leipzig and Berlin agree, and they didnt even travel the longest.
from spain, sweden or england, many of the people there were happy about the cheap flights.

emotional fans

One group after the other is being let in.
“Don’t run”, the annoyed securities have to keep yelling at the girls.
once inside the hall, a lot of them burst into tears, jump with joy or fall into eachothers arms.
Marie from paris emotionally kissses her ticket.
“I can’t believe it”, is the only thing she can say.
in a few minutes the front rows are crowded and the first people have to be carried out.
it is warm in the hall, the concertstart is lagged already, and the instruction of the securities are not really charming.

The question if all this fuss is really worth it, is answered for the fans in the first minute of the 24 minute, six song concert.
Tokio Hotel convincingly create an intimate and warm atmosphere
from the first song ” übers ende der welt”, in their acoustic set.
and that is not easy to do in the plastic charme of the 02 arena.
Bill Kaulitz, who is wearing black dreads instead of his porcupine hairdo, causes the audience to freak out with small gestures.
just his arm raised into the air, a short walk on the edge of the stage, or pointing at the crowd, is enough to get them moving.

The almost 20 year old looks natural, and his honest happiness about this concert is obvious.( this one was a bit hard to translate so not 100% right)
“I am curious to see how text sure you are”, he yells.
and that could only be meant retorically, wenn du lachst/lachst du nicht/ wenn du weinst/ weinst du nicht/
wenn du fühlst/ fühlst du nichts/ weil du ohne liebe bist,
the choir sings alltogether and a sea of cellphones and cameras is being held up.
the online platform Youtube will be full of little videosnippets of these unforgetable minutes today.
to let the people who were not there, join in.
but for those, Tokio Hotel will soon be on another Stadium Tour, and then there will atleast be concerts that will last longer then a
stretched out “zugabe”.

The album Humanoid will be out on october 2nd, and will be linked with the single Automatisch.

1000 Fans, 25 Minutes of Music

Bild.de has posted a new article about the Nokia concert in Cologne, Germany yesterday. It just gives the basic details about what happened, nothing too specific.

A shrill alarm yesterday in the southern town! Guilty was the band “Tokio Hotel“. The boys, with lead singer Bill Kaulitz (19), played their first German concert in over a year.

In the O2-Pavillion only about 700 fans were allowed in at first. They won the tickets from the mobile phone manufacturer Nokia. Before the event, the hall was crammed full. Many fans had arrived without tickets, camping for days in Südstadion.

And their heroes had a heart and let about 300 fans without tickets into the concert.

Inside, the band was in their best playing mood. Exactly at 19.25 o’clock the show started. With the first song “Übers Ende der Welt“ of their Unplugged set the teenagers started to shriek as if there was no tomorrow. Bill & Co. handled the broohaha with their usual lax attitude, playing the song “Automatisch” from their new album “Humanoid” (which comes out on 2.10.).

Unfortunately, after 25 minutes everything was over.

Tom talks about the stalkers

RTL Punkt has aired another clip of the interview yesterday with Tokio Hotel. Most of what they included in this news video is the same as before, but there’s also a little part with Tom talking about the fans, and how they were not fans. Take a look at the video and translation (by the video owner) below.

Bill: Three of us are still single; and Georg is in love.
Georg: I am taken, have been for a little over half a year.
Bill: You don’t say!
Georg: Yes.
Tom: Sad, extremely sad.

Bill: Of course I want to fall in love. I wanted to since we started with Tokio Hotel. It’s just very unrealistic in the life we’re living, and Georg was extremely lucky, I have to say, and I’m a bit jealous.

On the stalkers:
Tom: No, those weren’t fans, at all. They have nothing to with fans, they were just people who were mentally disordered, who really have problems with their own lives, and who definitely need some help.

Bill wants to fall inlove!

In a new interview before the Nokia concert with RTL Punkt in Germany the boys talk about love, Tom admits he’s had his heart broken, and Gustav says he’s healed just fine. Check out the video and a translation of the interview (done by the video uploader) below!

Bill: I desperately want to fall in love, and I have ever since this whole thing with Tokio Hotel started. It’s just really unrealistic with the life we’re currently living; only Georg got really lucky, and I am a bit jealous of that, I have to say.

Bill: Three of us are still single, only Georg is in love!
Georg: I am taken, have been for a little over half a year.
Bill: You don’t say.
Georg: Yes.
Tom: Sad, it’s extremely sad.
Georg: Well, of course you’re jealous of that a bit…
Tom: A whole world crumbled for me, I’d been really in love with Georg.

Gustav: It all healed just fine, everything is okay.
(But Gustav wants to continue partying with out bodyguards.
Gustav: I am not going to change anything, I will go out on my own.
Bill: Those decisions, we all have to make for ourselves. Tom and I don’t do that, for example. I wouldn’t go out without a bodyguard.

Speaker: No bodyguards needed in Cologne. There was only pure Tokio Hotel with no incidents at all.

Georg has a girlfriend! AW!

A new interview with Bravo talks about the album, the band’s appearance, and their relationship status. Bill says they’re nervous to release the new album. He admits Tom thought long and hard about getting rid of his dreads, and Georg said since he’s the only one who hasn’t changed, he might have to shave some flames into his hair. On the topic of relationships, Tom says his time with Chantelle was nothing, and Georg admits he’s had a girlfriend for half a year.

Tokio Hotel is back! In an interview with Bravo the guys talk about their appearance, their famous friendships and new love!

All’s new at Tokio Hotel. 2.10 finally, the new album “Humanoid” will be released and the new single “Automatisch” on 18.9. But when we met Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) and Georg (22) in Hamburg, it’s quickly clear: Not only the sound of the band is fresh. What have the boys changed and which of them is in love – we’ll tell you …

BRAVO: Bill, you’re the proverbial “big star” …
Bill: Yeah, I am now 1.90 high, about 2 cm higher than Tom (laughs).

Bravo: How is it going with your comeback?
Bill: I do not feel that it was a comeback, all the time we just worked. But we are very nervous about how fans will take the songs.

Bravo: Did you get rid of your beloved dreadlocks. Are you sad about this?
Bill: It was bad for him.
Tom: No, that’s not true.
Bill: But he was extremely nervous. He wanted to get rid of the dreadlocks, but thought long about it. It was really hard for him. I then had to convince him to get his hair colored.

Bravo: Bill now has dreadlocks, glasses for Gustav, Georg looks just like he always did …
Tom (laughing): Soon he’ll make a new hairstyle for his pubic hair.
Georg: Exactly, shave in a few flames (laughs).

Bravo: In the meantime, also in the USA you are stars.. Do you have friends in the states who are famous?
Bill: It was very cool, to know Jay-Z. We had a nice evening with him – together in Los Angeles, we ate and drank. It was very relaxing.

Bravo: What about Miley Cyrus?
Bill: Really cool. We met her at the Video Music Awards. Miley is a real whirlwind. When someone is tired, she’ll bring him out of it.

BRAVO: Tom, you had a fling with Chantelle of Flipsyde. Was it something serious?
Tom: She is an extremely nice girl, but otherwise it’s nothing. I’m simply not the type to wastes a lot of time on a relationship.

Bravo: Who of you is in love?
Georg: I have a girlfriend. We are together for half a year. She is not famous and would not want to become so. I met her in Magdeburg and now it seems to be a big love. The boys like her too.

TOKIO HOTEL ON FRONT PAGE OF LE PARISIEN

Tokio Hotel were on the front page of today’s issue of Le Parisien, the best-selling newspaper in France. The article debated whether or not this album will be successful, and if Tokio Hotel has already hit its peak of popularity.

Another French website, TV News, has info about TV shows that Tokio Hotel will be on in France. In early September the boys will be in France for 3 days for written press promo, and they will return in October to record their appearances on Le grand journal (Canal+), Sacrée soirée (TF1), and On n’est pas encore couché (France 2).

Tokio Hotel in the reconquest of teens

Idolized by young audiences two years ago, the German group returns with a new album. But is there still any ability to attract this generation of ephemeral passions?

Everything goes fast with teenagers: the clothes, fashions, friends, girlfriends. Adding idols. In new this season, will they have a little space on the walls of their room between two posters of “Twilight” or “High School Musical” for Tokio Hotel, the German group that had distraught an ephemeral generation two years ago.

Overflowing Bercy, fans camped outside the venues three days before the show, nearly one million records sold, products derived from T-shirt homework notebook, a renewed interest in German at the college . And then, nothing.

Until that announcement, a song sent to the radio stations on Friday morning: “Automatic”. Sorry…”Automatisch” the choice can be made between the german or english version. It will be the same case for the forthcoming album on October 5, “Humanoid”.

This is a first sign of the ambitions of Tokio Hotel, who intends to capitalize on their success in 2007-2008 to go try the Anglo-Saxon market. “Before they worked alone, said Guénaël Geay, global marketing manager of Polydor the french labelof the band. This time, they called for the biggest anglo-saxon professionals for the composition, the writing and the sound.

Indeed, we will find on this album the names of Guy Chambers, collaborator for Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, RedOne who takes part in the success of Lady Gaga, or Kara DioGuardi, who has hit the jackpot with Pink and Christina Aguilera.

“The band’s weight in gold today is a mystery” (Can also be, the band’s value today is a mystery)

Awesome guests on the paper. But the public is the one to invite to the party. The band’s weight in gold today is a mystery” admits Jean-Christophe Federici, editor of the monthly Star Club, leader of the youth press in France. Two years ago when we put Tokio Hotel on the cover, we sold 110 000 of our 120 000 copies.

Today, the fanmail for the group is divided by five. It is in a niche where the fame of artists is generally limited to two years. Most of those who want to age with their public have broken their teeth(in short they didn’t succed). We can note that with Lorie’s case.

“Only Robbie Williams has bounced back by denying in part his former boy band Take That. “And Justin Timberlake, added Guénaël Geay. He made in solo the same music he did with his band ‘N Sync but with better production. It is the same approach Tokio Hotel does with this new disc. ”

But some didn’t believe in them anymore. We Productions, which organized the group’s concerts in France since the beginning, no longer work with Tokio Hotel, chastened by the failure of the concert at Parc des Princes in June 2008 with 25 000 people, representing just over half the stadium capacity.

A scheduled date when the German blow was already beginning to fall. Currently, the group’s management relies on a new french agent for a future tour. “They already want to have several concerts at Bercy in 2010, when they weigh at best only one Zenith. It’s over. The kids are moved on, “says one producer.

In “Star Club”, the focus is still on the group, out of loyalty. ‘It will cover our next issue September 15, said Jean-Christophe Federici. Then wait to see how the album will be upheld.” Nothing is “Automatisch” anymore for Tokio Hotel.

Humanoid due to release october 2nd, DAVID JOST SHARES DETAILS!

That's the day the German quartet will release their new album, Humanoid, according to producer/songwriter David Jost.

In a statement to MTV News, Jost said it's "now certain" the new TH album will be released October 2, and it draws influences from the world of science fiction — or at least frontman Bill Kaulitz does.

"Bill has already given a name for the new record: Humanoid. The word 'Humanoid' comes from the science-fiction language, meaning 'humanlike,' " the statement reads. "This word is pronounced differently in the English and German language but is written the same way in both languages. Bill wanted the new record to have only one name worldwide: Humanoid."

The actual release date for the album was posted on Tokio Hotel's official fan site.

Aside from the title and release date, not much else is known about Humanoid. In early 2009, production team the Matrix told MTV News that they had recorded eight songs with Tokio Hotel and that the material was "strong, anthem-y" stuff with a dark edge and "lots of guitars." It's not known if any of those songs will make the final cut of the album. According to multiple sources, Humanoid will be released in both German and English.

Just last month, snippets of two English-language tracks — "Dark Side of the Sun" and "Pain of Love" — hit the Net, both of which will reportedly be featured on Humanoid. Within hours, those snippets were removed, but they can be found on sites like YouTube.

Tokio Hotel Boiling HOTT!

the release date for HUMANOID album might be postponed.

- manager David Jost & BRAVO magazine said October 2nd:

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1616548/20090720/tokio_hotel.jhtml
http://thtchannel.xail.net/tht4fans/tht_irina_025.htm

- Amazon Canada and MTV now say it's October 6th:

http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Tokio+Hotel+Humanoid&x=12&y=22
http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/428971/exclusive-tokio-hotels-automatic.jhtml

- Amazon USA and Amazon Japan say it's October 13th:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Tokio+Hotel+-+Humanoid&x=13&y=27
http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_ss?__mk_ja_JP=%83J%83%5E%83J%83i&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Tokio+Hotel+Humanoid&x=20&y=33

what i find very surprising and kinda wicked:

unlike other countries, which get HUMANOID in a standard version for $ 17,49 and a Deluxe Version for $ 19,99 only fans in Canada will get a kinda Collectors Version for exorbitant $ 49,99, which obviously comes with e Bonus DVD and a Tokio Hotel Flag in English or German.

and even more surprising:

presale orders for that version go through the roof at Amazon.ca
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/bestsellers/music/ref=pd_mw_m_mte

only The Beatles, Kings of Leon and Leonard Cohen sell more than TOKIO HOTEL with that version of the HUMANOID album!!

RAMBLE, RUMBLE, RUMORS:

another major news is that TOKIO HOTEL signed a million dollar deal with Nokia. who - amongst other things - expect to profit from the "sober and positive image" of the boys.

a first "side effect" of this colaboration probably was Bill and Tom's interview statement in RTL Exclusiv on August 21st. Bill said that Tom was "getting more sober", and that he had learned from Bill about "what matters in life" and that true love is waiting. and Tom said: "yeah, i hope to fall in love some time, i just can't believe it can happen to me!" LOL

the second result is a free TOKIO HOTEL - LIVE AND UNPLUGGED concert this Thursday August 27th in Köln, presented by the Nokia Music Store:
http://www.nokia.de/microsites/tokiohotelgewinn

according to rumors Nokia will be doing a massive campaign of BILLboard Advertising to promote TOKIO HOTEL's upcoming tour.

other rumors say that Nokia, whose slogan is "Connecting People", will be using "HUMAN CONNECT TO HUMAN" as their new "campaign song", and that TOKIO HOTEL will present "HUMAN TO HUMAN" as their next single performing LIVE at the MTV EMAs 2009 in Berlin on November 5th:

http://www.mauerfall09.de/en/portal/9-november.html
http://ema.mtv.de

and that would make perfect sense, because on November 9th, 2009 Germany will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, which had been seperating Germany in 2 parts (West Germany and a communist East Germany) for 28 years. and without that re-unification of Germany there would be no TOKIO HOTEL and there would be no MTV Germany in Berlin.

New Tokio Hotel Message!

Tokio Hotel Sent in to the desert!

Sent into the desert

Finally their Album is finished, now they shot their first Video for it in South Africa

They went to South Africa. Bill (19) and Co. held some hot car races in the sand of the desert – and this in front of the camera. The band shot the video for the song “Automatisch/Automatic”, which will be released on September 18 as the first single from their new album “Humanoid” (13 Tracks).

“We spent three days pn shooting the Video in the middle of the desert. No phone, no Internet. That was a relief,” singer Bill Kaulitz told the KURIER. “I obviously had the most to do. While the others stuffed their bellies with food at the Catering, I always had to shoot my scenes in German and in English.” Reason: Bill had to record the third Tokio Hotel Album bilingual. Because the English and the German version of the Disc will be released worldwide at the same time.
